V.G.M. Real Estate

V.G.M. Real Estate is located at 465B in the T.N.H.B. Colony area of Velachery. Being in a colony like this means we see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. The office is tucked away a bit, so it is usually a bit quieter than the main roads. There is always a stack of newspapers on the table and some old registers where we keep track of who is looking for a house or wanting to sell their plot. Velachery has changed a lot lately with all the new shops and the water issues during the rains, but our corner of the colony stays mostly the same. We spend a lot of time on the phone or walking around to show people different houses in the neighborhood. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit old but they are comfortable enough for a quick chat. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so the cooler is usually running full blast. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or heard about us from a neighbor. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the paperwork for the rentals and sales gets finished. It is mostly about knowing who is moving out and who is looking for a place to stay. We just keep the keys ready and wait for the next person to stop by.
