Veshalakshi Exports

Our office for Veshalakshi Exports is located at 1, Mahalakshmi Street, right in the middle of T. Nagar. If you know Chennai, you know how crowded this area gets, especially on the weekends. We have been working out of this spot for years, dealing with all the shipping paperwork and coordinating with people overseas. The street outside is always full of people walking to the shops nearby, and the humidity usually makes the office feel a bit heavy despite the fans running. We spend most of our time at the desks, typing out emails and making sure the crates are packed correctly for whatever is going out that week. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the courier guys struggle to find a place to park their bikes because Mahalakshmi Street is so narrow. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby; it’s mostly just desks, files, and samples of whatever we are exporting at the time. Lunch usually happens right at the desks because there is always a phone ringing or a message coming in that needs an answer right away. It is a busy life here in T. Nagar, but we are used to the noise and the constant rush. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other's schedules pretty well. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay on top of the orders and keep things moving through the port.
