Baghyarathy

Mylapore is a place that never really stays quiet, and we have been part of it for a long time now. Our little spot, Baghyarathy, is tucked away at No 12 on Vsv Koil Lane. If you know the area, you know those lanes can be a bit tight, but that is just how it is around here. We open up every morning and start the day’s work without much fuss. It is a simple life, really. The neighbors walk past, the bells from the nearby temples ring, and we just keep doing what we do. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big office with glass walls. It is just a regular building where we get things done. Sometimes the lane gets crowded with cycles and people walking, especially during the festival times, but we like the energy. Being at number 12 means we have seen the street change over the years, though our routine stays pretty much the same. We handle our business with the tools we have and the space we've got. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure things move along. People ask how we find the place in the maze of Mylapore, but once you’ve been here, you don't forget the turn. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just work here, live here, and keep Baghyarathy going one day at a time, right here in the heart of the old neighborhood.
