L. S. Impex

L. S. Impex is run out of 99 C, Himgiri Aptts., in Pocket A14 of the Kalkaji Extension. It is more of a residential-feeling area than a big industrial zone, which makes it a bit quieter for us. We handle import and export stuff, so there is always a lot of correspondence and tracking of shipments. Our space is filled with samples of things we move and stacks of shipping documents that seem to grow every week. It’s not a large office with a sign outside, it is more like a workspace tucked away in the apartments. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking where things are in the world and making sure the customs papers are all in order. Sometimes we have to go out to meet people or check on goods, but a lot of the work is just staying on top of the details from here. The neighborhood is nice, and we often see the same people walking their dogs or going to the local shops while we are working. It is a small operation, so we do a bit of everything ourselves, from answering the door to filing the taxes. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. We just try to keep the business moving and make sure the deliveries happen on time. It is a simple life of trading and logistics without any unnecessary fluff or complicated systems.
