M. Dara Exports

M. Dara Exports is located over at 26, Zakaria Street. If you know the area, it's pretty packed with activity all the time. Our building is right in the middle of it. We spend most of our time dealing with export orders and checking on suppliers. It’s a lot of back and forth, honestly. The office is small and filled with folders and samples. We've been here for a good number of years now. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we like the energy of the street. Someone is always coming in with a delivery or asking about a shipment date. We don't spend money on fancy ads. Most of the folks we work with found us through word of mouth or because they were already doing business on Zakaria Street. We handle the day-to-day stuff ourselves. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that's the highlight of the afternoon. We focus on getting the boxes packed right and making sure the labels are correct. It’s basic work, but it needs to be done right or things get stuck at the port. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to do a solid job for the people who rely on us. It can be stressful when things get delayed, but we just pick up the phone and try to sort it out.
