Amazing South India Store

If you are looking for Amazing South India Store, we are located at No. 26 First Street in Ramalinga Nagar, Nerkundram. Despite the name, we are just a small neighborhood shop that stocks the things people miss from back home. The shelves are usually packed tight with bags of rice, different kinds of lentils, and those specific spices you can't always find in the bigger supermarkets. It’s a bit of a squeeze to walk through the aisles sometimes, especially when we get a new delivery in and the boxes are sitting on the floor. We don't have fancy lighting or a checkout counter with a computer. We just use a basic register and sometimes write things down in a notebook. The shop gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually have a small fan blowing near the door. Neighbors come in not just to buy stuff, but to catch up on what’s happening in Nerkundram. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It isn't the most organized place in the world, and sometimes we run out of things if the truck is late, but we do our best. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we enjoy being part of the community here on First Street. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next customer to walk in.
