Uptodate Unisex Salon

Our salon is located at No 12 Ganesh Apartments. If you are looking for us, we are right on Medavakkam Tank Road in Ayanavaram. A good landmark is the Royal Enfield store room because we are right next to it. It’s a handy spot for people living in the apartments and the houses nearby. We handle both men and women here. The shop isn't very big but we have enough room for a few chairs and a small waiting area. We try to keep the place cool because the sun hits this side of the building pretty hard in the afternoons. You’ll usually see one or two of us working at any given time. We’ve got the usual stuff like combs, clippers, and different shampoos lined up on the shelves. It’s a straightforward business. People come in, tell us what they want, and we get to it. Sometimes we have a radio playing in the background but usually, it's just the sound of the traffic from the road outside. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who walk through the door by name. It’s a nice neighborhood to work in. There’s always someone stopping by to ask for a time or just to see if we’re free for a quick cut. We don’t have a website or anything, just the shop and the sign outside. It works for us.
