Udhayam Traders

We are located at 3A on Dhanappa Mudaliar Street. It is one of those narrower streets where things can get a bit tight when a delivery truck tries to get through. Udhayam Traders is a local business, through and through. The building is older, with high ceilings and those heavy wooden doors. It stays relatively cool inside even when the sun is beating down on the street outside. We deal with various goods and the stock changes depending on what is moving. There’s no big fancy showroom here. We just have our items stacked where they fit. Sometimes the ledger books get a bit messy, but we keep track of things in our own way. We know most of our neighbors on the street. It’s the kind of place where you say hello to the person next door every morning. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We are traders. We buy things and we sell them. It’s simple. Some days are very slow, and we just sit and watch the people walk by on Dhanappa Mudaliar Street. Other days, we are so busy we don't have time to eat lunch until late afternoon. It is an honest life. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and we don't plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon.
