Sree Abinaya Tradings

Sree Abinaya Tradings is situated right on Selli Amman Kovil Street in Melanikuzhi. It is a quiet enough spot most of the time, except when there are festivals at the temple nearby. We deal with various items that people in the village and surrounding areas need for their daily lives. The shop isn't very large, but we try to keep it organized so we can find things quickly. Most of our days are spent loading and unloading bags or boxes that come in from the bigger towns. We know most of the people who walk through our door by their first names. It is that kind of place where you stop to talk about the weather or the crops while you are finishing a transaction. Sometimes the supplies arrive late because the roads can be tricky during the monsoon, but we do our best to keep things moving along. We have been in Melanikuzhi for a while and have seen many changes in the street, but our building stays pretty much the same. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. People just know where we are because they have been coming here for years. It is a family-run type of thing, and we just focus on the task at hand. There is always something to count or move around in the back room to make space for new stock arriving next week.
