Sri Kumar Trading

Linghi Street is always a bit of a mess with all the traffic and people moving about. We are located at No. 319/155. It is a narrow building, but it goes back quite a way. Sri Kumar Trading is basically where I spend most of my waking hours. It’s a trading business, so it’s all about buying and selling. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking prices. The desk is usually covered in sticky notes and old coffee mugs. We have a small warehouse area that is usually packed to the ceiling with boxes. Finding something specific can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't the one who put it there. We don't really do much in the way of fancy advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. Someone tells a neighbor, and then that neighbor shows up asking for a specific item. It is a slow way to grow, but it works for us. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we use a lot of desk lamps. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit there in the dark for a bit, talking until it comes back on. It is a very normal, everyday kind of place. We aren't trying to change the world or anything. We just want to make sure the orders are right and the customers are satisfied enough to come back next time. It’s just how we operate here on Linghi Street, day in and day out, without any big airs.
