The office is based at 72, Iii Floor, in the R A Building on Marshals Road. Egmore is a busy part of the city, and Marshals Road always has something going on. Being on the third floor gives a bit of a view, though mostly it’s just looking at the tops of trees and other buildings. Retail and trading work means there’s always a lot of movement. Dailylife is the name on the door, and it fits because the focus is on stuff people use every day. The office is often a bit of a mess with papers and samples everywhere. No fancy cleaning crew comes in every night. Tidying up happens when there is a spare moment. It’s a real place where people work hard. A lot of time is spent on the computer or talking to suppliers. Egmore is a great location because it’s easy for people to get to, even if the traffic on Marshals Road can be a nightmare during rush hour. Being in the R A Building for some time means knowing the lift operator and the other folks on our floor. Big corporate slogans aren't used here. Trading fairly and keeping the business running is enough. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and the fast pace of the retail world is enjoyable. It's just a regular office life for all of us.
