Twinkles Family Salons

Thiruvalluvar Nagar is where we set up Twinkles Family Salons, specifically on 2nd Main Road. If you know where the RTO office is, we are just right behind that building. It's a convenient spot for families because there’s enough space for kids to sit while their parents get something done. We started this place because we noticed there weren't many spots around here that handled everyone from toddlers to grandparents comfortably. It’s not a high-end luxury lounge or anything. We just have decent chairs and a few mirrors. The lighting is bright so we can see what we’re doing. Our team is just a group of regular people who know how to use scissors and combs. We talk to our customers about the weather or the traffic on the main road while we work. It’s usually a bit loud on Saturday mornings with children running around, but that’s how it goes in a family place. Thiruvanmiyur has changed a lot over the years, but we like staying in this little pocket of the neighborhood. We don't use any fancy tech for bookings, most people just drop in or give a quick call. Sometimes we're running a bit behind schedule if a haircut takes longer than we thought it would. We just try to be honest with people about the wait time. It's a straightforward shop where you come in, get your hair trimmed, and go back to your day.
