Thiru Thujeetha Stores

Thiru Thujeetha Stores is located at 2/10A on Nellukara Street in the Chitherimedu area. Our street is quite narrow, so you won’t see many big cars coming through here, just people on foot or the occasional motorbike zooming past. We are a small local store that carries a bit of everything, from soap and shampoo to basic cooking ingredients and snacks for the kids after school. I spend most of my day standing behind the wooden counter, reaching for items on the top shelves with a long stick because the ceiling is high. The shop is quite dark because the sun doesn't reach down into the street very well, but we have a few bright bulbs inside to see the labels. We know almost everyone who lives on this block, and we often hear the local gossip before anyone else does. It’s not a place where people come to do a month’s worth of shopping; they just come in for the one or two things they forgot to buy at the big market. The shelves are a bit crowded and sometimes things fall off when you are looking for something else, but we just pick them up and keep going. We don't have a big neon sign outside, just the name painted above the door in blue. It’s a humble place, and we are fine with that. We just want to be a steady spot for the people nearby to get what they need.
