You can find us at number 70, Sayar Paradise, which is on the second floor. We are right on Elephant Gate Street in Sowcarpet, just opposite Veerappan Street. It is a very busy part of Chennai with lots of narrow lanes and people everywhere. Our parlor is one of many in this area, but we have our regular group of ladies who come to us. Since we are on the second floor, it is a little escape from the noise of the street below. We do hair cutting, coloring, and basic beauty treatments. The space is used efficiently, with mirrors along the walls and a couple of stations for washing hair. We don't spend much on decorations. It is mostly just the tools we need and some chairs for the clients. The staff speaks a mix of languages because Sowcarpet is such a melting pot of cultures. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. It gets very busy during the festival seasons, and we often have to skip our lunch breaks to keep up with the crowd. We are just normal people working hard to make a living. No fancy brochures or memberships here. If you need your hair done and you are in the market area, you can just walk up the stairs and see if a chair is free. It is honest work and we like the people we meet every day.
