Thangam Estates Llp is right in the heart of T. Nagar. Our office is at 8/1 Padmanabha Street. If you know Chennai you know that T. Nagar is probably the busiest spot in the whole city. It is always loud and crowded with people shopping. Padmanabha Street is a little bit tucked away from the main chaos of Pondy Bazaar but you can still hear the traffic. The building is a typical one for this area. Space is hard to find and parking is always a big problem for everyone. We spend our time here dealing with different land and property matters. It gets very hot in the office during the day. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or so and we just have to wait it out. We have been in this location for a while. There are some old trees on the street that give a bit of shade. Most of our neighbors have lived here for many years. It feels like a small community even though it is so busy. We do not have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone comes by one of us just gets up to talk to them. We get our coffee from a small shop around the corner. The office is full of old maps and ledgers. We still write a lot of things down in books. It is just how we work.
