Tanjore Creations

Tanjore Creations is over in Mandaveli on Norton Road. The address is No. 16 but they gave it a new number which is 26 lately. It’s an old part of the city and Norton Road has a lot of big trees and nice houses. Our place is tucked away and it feels very peaceful compared to the main roads. We have several rooms filled with our things. Mandaveli is a great neighborhood and we have been here for a long time. The house we are in has high ceilings and old-style windows that let in a lot of air. We don't have a lot of modern furniture or anything like that. We use old wooden cupboards to store our items. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere here at Tanjore Creations. We usually start our work around nine in the morning. Sometimes the local birds make more noise than the traffic on Norton Road. We have a small courtyard in the back where we can take a break. It feels more like a home than a business sometimes. We don't do any big advertising or anything fancy. People just know where to find us on Norton Road if they need us. We like the slow pace of this part of Mandaveli. It gives us time to focus on what we are doing without feeling rushed. It is just a nice quiet place to work.
