Suriya Homes & Realtors is located on Greenways Road in R.A. Puram. It’s a nice, quiet part of the city compared to the main roads. I opened this office because I saw how hard it was for families to find decent apartments without getting confused by too many options. We focus on this neighborhood and the nearby areas. It is mostly me and one assistant. We keep track of the flats that come up for lease or sale. Sometimes we get houses that have been with the same family for fifty years. Dealing with the paperwork in Chennai can be a bit of a headache, so we help out with that part too. We aren't some big corporate firm with branches everywhere. We just have this one spot at 55/11. People come to us because they want someone who actually knows which streets get flooded during the rain or where the nearest grocery shop is. We don't use any high-pressure tactics. If a place doesn't suit you, we tell you. It’s better to have a happy neighbor than a quick commission. The office is small but we keep it clean and there's always water for anyone who stops by. We’ve been through many changes in the local market, but the basic need for a home stays the same. We just try to make the process a bit less stressful for everyone involved. It's just us helping people settle into the local community.
