S.S.N.Brauty Parlour

S.S.N.Brauty Parlour is our little shop in Chennai. We are at No.59/140 on Pulianthope High Road. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite the Ambika Bhavan Hotel. It’s a very busy part of Pulianthope. There’s always noise and people walking by outside the door. Inside, I try to keep things a bit more relaxed for the customers. The name on the sign has that spelling, S.S.N.Brauty, and we just kept it that way. I’ve lived in Chennai all my life and this area is very familiar to me and my family. People around here work hard and they just want a place to get a quick trim or a shave without spending too much. We do both men and women sometimes, or just whoever walks in depending on the time of day. It’s a practical place. We have a few chairs and some old mirrors that have seen a lot of faces over the years. I don't use any of that fancy marketing stuff or flyers. If someone likes the work I do, they tell their cousin or a friend. That’s how we get most of our business. The hotel across the road brings in some foot traffic too. People eat there and then see our sign and come over. Pulianthope High Road is never quiet. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the vehicles, so I’m always wiping down the glass and the chairs. It’s just a small local business trying to do an honest job every day.
