You can find us at No 160 Durga Devi Nagar, right in the Tondiarpet area of Chennai. We are situated directly opposite the Power House Bus Stop, which is a very busy landmark around here. Sri Vasundhara Devi Beauty Parlore is a small, local shop that caters to the women living in the surrounding streets. Chennai can be quite hot and humid, so we try to keep the shop as comfortable as possible with the fans going all day. It’s not a fancy air-conditioned salon from a magazine, just a regular place where people come for their basic grooming. We handle things like oil massages, hair cutting, and simple facials. The shop is usually filled with the sound of the traffic from the Power House area, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We have a couple of chairs and a small area for people to sit while they wait. Often, neighbors just stop by to say hello even if they don't need anything done. It’s a friendly atmosphere, quite informal. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us working with what we have. We make sure the water is ready and the combs are clean. People appreciate having a place so close to the bus stop where they can get things done quickly before heading home. That’s just how we do things here in Tondiarpet.
