We are situated at No 1, Vaidyanathan Street, which is right in the Parrys area of Chennai. If you know where the Murugan Theatre is, then you will find us pretty quickly because we are just nearby. Parrys is always such a fast-moving part of the city, and our shop fits right into that rhythm. Sri Sai Baba Gents Beauty Parlour is a straightforward place for men to get a haircut or a shave. We don't have those expensive sofa sets or complicated menus. It is just a row of chairs and a few of us working. The 600001 area is old Chennai, so things are a bit tight and busy on the streets outside. Most of our regulars have been coming to us for years. They stop in while they are out doing work or after catching a movie at the theatre. It is a practical shop. We make sure the blades are sharp and the towels are clean.
