Sri Mayuri Beauty Parlour

You can find Sri Mayuri Beauty Parlour at 193, Amman Kovil Street. Being in Seven Wells means there is always noise and people moving around outside. Chennai is always busy, and this part of town is no different. Our shop is near the Amman Kovil, so we get a lot of people stopping by after they go to the temple. It is a small space, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. The walls are painted a light color, though they might need a new coat soon. We have a few mirrors and the usual chairs for the ladies who come in. Most of the people who visit us live right here in the neighborhood. We see the same faces every month. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on weekends, and people have to sit on the bench outside for a bit. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us working through the day. We drink a lot of water because it gets very warm in here during the summer months. We have a small shelf where we keep some combs and bottles. Nothing is very high-tech. We just do the work and talk to the neighbors. It is a practical place for local people. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many people coming in and out, it is hard to keep the floor perfectly clean all day.
