Sri Lakshmi Tailor & Beauty Parlour

You can find Sri Lakshmi Tailor & Beauty Parlour at number 16 127, specifically in shop number 3 on 1st Street. We are located on Bajanai Koil Street in the Inbarajapuram part of Choolai. It’s a bit of a unique setup because we do two different things here. On one side of the room, there are sewing machines where we handle tailoring work for blouses and dresses. On the other side, we have a small area set up for beauty services like threading and hair care. It is a very busy little shop because people come in for all sorts of things. Sometimes the sound of the sewing machine is constant and other times it’s quiet while we focus on someone’s hair. The space is tight so we have to stay organized with the fabrics and the beauty supplies. We’ve been in Choolai for a long time and know most of the people who walk past our door. Chennai gets very hot, so we have a sturdy fan that runs all day to keep the air moving. It’s not a fancy place with modern decor, just a working shop where things get done. We have a lot of regular customers who bring their clothes to be fixed and then stay to get their eyebrows done. It’s a practical way to run a business in this neighborhood. We just work hard and keep things going day by day without making much fuss.
