Sri Kalai Beauty Parlour

We are located at No.19/101, E.H.Road in Tondiarpet. It is easy to spot us because we are near the Tondiarpet IOC. The road outside is a major one, so there is always a steady stream of trucks and bikes going past. Being in this part of Chennai means dealing with a lot of heat and humidity. I keep the fans running constantly, but sometimes it still feels a bit warm inside. The parlour has a tiled floor that is easy to clean, which is good because we get a lot of people coming in from the dusty street. We have some basic equipment and a few stools for people to sit on. The mirrors are quite large and reflect the whole room. I have a small cupboard where I keep all the clean towels and the supplies. It is a modest setup, nothing like those big salons in the malls. We focus on the everyday needs of the people living around E.H. Road. I usually start my day by lighting a small incense stick to make the place smell nice. Sometimes the water pressure in the sink is a bit low, but we manage. People like coming here because it is familiar and they don't have to dress up. It is just a local business run by people who know the neighborhood well.
