We are located at 5/5 Arunachalam Nagar, which is right in the Karapakkam area of Porur. It is a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic passing by our door from morning till night. We have been operating from this spot for a while, and the neighbors all know us. Our space is mostly filled with stock and paperwork. It is not a very large office, but it serves the purpose for what we do at Sri Dhanalakshmi Agencies. We spend most of the morning answering the phone and checking on deliveries. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three different things happen at once, but that is just how a small agency works. You won’t find any fancy decorations here, just the essentials to keep the business running. We try to stay organized even when the floor is covered in boxes or files. Porur is a growing place, so there are always new people moving into the buildings around Arunachalam Nagar. We see a lot of the same faces every week, which is nice for a local business. Most of our day is spent dealing with suppliers or making sure the ledger is up to date. It is a practical way to earn a living. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and do what needs to be done until it is time to close the shutters.
