Sri Brindha Beauty Parlour

If you walk down T P Kovil Street in Triplicane, you will see Sri Brindha Beauty Parlour at number 118/2. We are very close to the Ragavendra Temple, so the street is always full of people, especially on festival days or weekends. Chennai is a hot city, and Triplicane is very crowded with narrow streets and lots of shops. Our parlour is tucked away there, and it’s a place where local women come to get away from the heat for a bit. We’ve been here for a long time. The shop is small and has a very traditional feel to it. We do threading, waxing, and hair services. You can often smell the incense from the temple nearby mixing with the smell of hair products. It’s a very busy atmosphere. We have a few old chairs and mirrors that have been here since we started. The fans on the ceiling hum constantly to keep the air moving. We know most of the ladies in the neighborhood by name. They come in to get ready for weddings or just for their regular maintenance. Sometimes we have to work fast when there’s a line, but we try not to rush too much. It’s not a fancy modern salon with glass walls. It’s just a simple shop on a busy street where we’ve worked for years. We just keep things going as they always have been and welcome whoever walks in.
