Sobhanarani

Plot No.15 B on St. Marys Street is a pretty easy place to find once you get onto the Rajarajeswari Nagar Main Road. We’re over here in Madipakkam, which is a part of Chennai that has grown a lot since I first started. Sobhanarani is the name on the gate out front. It’s a residential-feeling area but there’s plenty of business going on if you look closely at the houses. The street is usually quiet in the mornings, which is nice. I get in early, open up the windows to let some air in before the afternoon heat gets too bad, and start on the pile of work. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees or a big HR department. It’s just a small group of us here, doing what needs to be done to keep things moving. The building is simple and functional, nothing fancy. We have a little bit of a garden out front that someone tries to keep alive with a hose, though the Chennai sun makes that a difficult task most months. 600091 is a good area to be in because it’s not as congested as the city center, but you still have everything you need close by like the local shops and food stalls. We don't have any fancy marketing people or big logos on the wall. It’s just a desk, a phone, and some hard work every day. People find us through word of mouth mostly. That’s how things have always worked for us. We just keep it simple.
