Reema Beauty Parlour

Mint Street is always a bit of a squeeze with all the people and shops, and that’s where you’ll find Reema Beauty Parlour. We’re at number 441, not too far from the Apollo Hospital in the Sowcarpet area. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there’s always a bit of noise from the street coming through the door. We do basic beauty work like threading, hair coloring, and skin stuff. Nothing too complicated, just the things most women need done every few weeks. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to stay organized or we’d run out of room for everyone. We’ve got a couple of chairs and some shelves filled with different bottles and jars. Sometimes the light in the back room flickers a bit, but we’ve got a lamp to help out when we need it. It’s a place where you can just come in and chat while we work. A lot of our customers are women who work nearby or live in the apartments around here. They know our names and we know theirs. It feels more like a small community than a business sometimes. We don’t have a website or anything like that; word of mouth has always been enough for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work as best as we can every day. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We try to keep the place cool with the fan going all day.
