Raja Real Estates is located at 1/147, Kandasamy Nagar, over in Palavakkam. It’s a decent area, not too far from the coast, so we get a bit of a breeze through the windows sometimes. The office is tucked away, and we’ve been operating from here for quite a while now. Usually, the day starts with clearing off the desk and checking the messages left from the night before. Dealing with real estate in this part of town means knowing the local streets really well. We spend a lot of time walking around showing plots or checking on how a new building is coming along. It’s not always exciting work. A lot of it is just waiting for people to show up or waiting for documents to get cleared by the office. We have a couple of old fans that make a bit of noise, but they keep the place cool enough on hot days. Folks from the neighborhood stop in just to chat about how the land prices are moving. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the local filings. Most of the files are kept in big steel cabinets that have seen better days. It's a practical setup for us. We handle the sales and the rentals without making a big fuss. When the sun goes down, we lock up and head home like everyone else. It is just how things go.
