Raaka Enterprises

Raaka Enterprises is right on Choolai High Road at number 98. We are very close to the bus stop, so there is always a lot of smoke and noise from the traffic. It is a busy spot. We have been here for a good number of years now. We sell various supplies that people in this part of the city need for their daily work. The shop isn't very wide, but it goes back pretty deep. We keep a lot of stock piled up on the high shelves. I usually need a ladder to reach the stuff at the top. Most of our customers are locals who are just passing by on their way to catch a bus. They pop in for something quick and then run off. It is a fast-paced environment. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door during monsoon, so we have to move the boxes around. It is just me and one other guy helping out. We handle the billing and the lifting ourselves. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Chennai, just a reliable one for the neighborhood. We know the bus timings by heart because of the crowds outside. It is a bit chaotic on this road, but we like being where the action is. If you stop by, you might have to wait a second while we finish with someone else. I guess it is just the way things go here.
