P.V.G. Salon

We are located right on Perambur High Road, just across from the railway station. It gets pretty busy around here with people coming and going from the trains all day. Our shop at No.5/11 has been part of this Perambur neighborhood for a bit now. You can usually hear the traffic and the station announcements from the front door. We keep things pretty simple. There are a few chairs and mirrors, and we just focus on doing hair cuts and shaves for the people who live nearby or those passing through after work. Sometimes it gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading home. The shop isn't fancy or anything like that. We just have the basic tools and a fan to keep the Chennai heat away as much as we can. Most of our regulars have been coming to us for a long time. They just sit down and we know how they like their hair done without them saying much. It’s a small place, but it works for us. We open up early in the morning because that's when a lot of men want to get a quick shave before going to the office. If you're walking toward the station, you'll see our sign right there on the main road. We don't really do anything flashy. It's just a regular local salon where you can get your hair sorted and maybe talk about the local news for a few minutes while you wait.
