We are over at No 14 on Apparswamy Koil Street in Mylapore. If you know the area, we're right opposite Sanskrit College, which makes it pretty easy to find us even when the traffic is a bit much. The shop is a place where we spend most of our days, just handling the regular salon work like hair and skin stuff. It isn’t anything fancy or over the top, just a local spot where people from around Chennai come in to get things done. We’ve been here for a while now. The street gets busy in the mornings but it stays interesting. Sometimes it's noisy outside with people heading to the college, but inside it’s just the usual sound of scissors and dryers. We keep things simple here. We have the usual chairs and mirrors, and we try to keep the place tidy between customers. It’s a lot of work running a spa and saloon every day, but we like being in this part of town. Mylapore has a certain feel to it, and being on Apparswamy Koil Street feels like we are right in the middle of everything. We open up early and stay until the evening, mostly chatting with the regulars who live nearby. If you are walking past the college, you will see our sign. It's just a straightforward business where we do our jobs and go home at the end of the day.
