Our salon is located at No 10/29 Wallace Garden, right on Khader Nawaz Khan Road. We are on the floor above Creame & Fudge. This part of Nungambakkam is always moving with people going to the cafes and shops nearby. We’ve got a decent amount of space inside with different stations for hair and beauty work. It’s a bright place because of the windows looking out towards the street. We spend most of our day here, dealing with whatever hair comes through the door. The floor is usually covered in some amount of hair until we get a chance to sweep it up. We have a few assistants who help with washing and keeping things moving along. It can get pretty loud when multiple hair dryers are going at the same time. Our customers come from all over Chennai but mostly it's people who work or live around the Nungambakkam area. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just the mirrors and the products we use. It’s a practical setup. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed even when we are fully booked. There’s always some music playing low in the background to cover the noise from the traffic outside. It's a good spot to sit for an hour while we get things done. We’ve been here long enough that the regulars don't even need to tell us what they want anymore.
