Om Varalakshmi Properties Llp is situated on the 6th floor of Good Shepherd Square. That is on Kodambakkam High Road in Nungambakkam. Being on the 6th floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is always packed with cars and bikes. Nungambakkam is a central place to be for any business. Our office is New No. 86. We do a lot of property work here. It is mostly about managing documents and talking to people who are looking for a new place or trying to sell what they have. It is not a very big office, but it works for what we need. We have a small pantry where we make tea when we need a break. Most of our day is spent on the phone or sitting at the computer looking at maps and records. The elevator in the building is sometimes slow, so we have to tell people to be patient when they come to visit us. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us doing the daily tasks. Sometimes we stay late to finish up some contracts or talk to owners. Dealing with real estate in Chennai means you have to be ready for anything. The rules change, or the paperwork gets stuck somewhere in an office. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can. It is a regular job and we like the area we are in.
