Nisha Beauty Parlor

Nisha Beauty Parlor is located at number 25 on Pethunaiken Street. This is in the Kondithope and Sowcarpet area of Chennai which is a very old and crowded part of the city. We are near the park which is a nice little bit of green in such a busy place. The streets around here are very narrow and always full of people and scooters. Our parlor is a small room where we have set up everything we need to help the ladies who live around here. It is often quite loud outside with the sounds of the street vendors and the traffic. Inside we have a couple of chairs and some drawers where we keep our supplies. We don't have any big flashy signs or anything corporate like that. Most of our customers are women who have been living in Sowcarpet for many years and they just walk over from their homes. We spend a lot of time talking about family and what is happening in the street while we work. The lighting isn't the best but we make it work for us. It is a bit of a struggle sometimes with the space being so tight but we are used to it by now. We are just a small part of this big busy neighborhood and we like it that way. No big promises, just a simple place for simple work. We are just doing our best here.
