New Royal Salon

New Royal Salon is a small place on Adam Shaib Street in Royapuram. We are located at No.41/3, not too far from the Amman Koil. If you know Royapuram, you know it’s one of the older parts of Chennai with lots of history and very narrow streets. Our salon has been a part of this neighborhood for quite a while. We mainly handle haircuts and shaves for the men around here. The shop is basic with a few chairs and mirrors that have seen many years of use. We like the atmosphere of Adam Shaib Street; there is always something happening outside, whether it is a festival at the temple or just the daily bustle of the local market. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just talk about the local news or the weather while we work. We don't use any fancy machines, just the usual scissors, combs, and clippers. The floor is old tile and we have a couple of fans to keep the air moving during the humid months. It’s a place where you don't need an appointment, you just show up and wait your turn on the bench. Most of our customers are people we’ve known for years, and we like it that way. It is a simple life and a simple business. We just try to provide a decent service to our neighbors and keep the shop running as best as we can every day.
