New Jothy Saloon

We have been running New Jothy Saloon on Subburayan Street for quite a while now. It is just a small place tucked away near Mount Road. Most people who live around here know us by now. We do the usual haircuts and shaves for the men in the neighborhood. It is nothing fancy, just a couple of chairs and some mirrors where we get the job done. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Sunday mornings, but that is how it goes. We try to keep things tidy, though it is an old building. Our shop is at number 22. If you are walking down from the main road, you will find us easily enough. People come in, chat about the news or whatever is happening in Chennai, and leave with a neater look. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. It is a simple setup. We use basic tools that we know how to handle well. The fan keeps the air moving, and there is usually a radio playing in the background. We do not spend much on ads or anything like that. Word of mouth seems to work fine for us. If you need a trim or just want to get rid of a messy beard, you can stop by. We are usually here from early morning until the evening. It is an honest living and we enjoy the daily routine of meeting the locals.
