Kani Beauty Parlour

You can find Kani Beauty Parlour over at No 15/2 on Ponnappachetty Street in Triplicane. We are located right opposite the Parthasarthy Arch, so there is usually a lot of noise and activity outside our door. Being in this part of Chennai means we get to see all kinds of people every day. The street gets crowded with people visiting the temple or just going about their daily business in the 600005 area. We have a small shop here where we do hair, threading, and other basic beauty things that women in the neighborhood ask for. It is not one of those big, shiny places you see in malls. It is just a regular local parlour where things are done the old-fashioned way. We know most of the ladies who come in by their first names because they have been coming here for years. The space inside is a bit tight but we make it work for everyone. Sometimes we have to move chairs around to make room. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure people leave looking a bit better than when they walked in. The arch is a good landmark if you are looking for us for the first time. We just keep things practical and honest. There is no need for big speeches about what we do. It is just work, plain and simple, day after day.
