Joyce Beauty Care

Joyce Beauty Care is located at No 17, 1St Main Road in Vyasarpadi. We are very close to the Reliance Fresh, so a lot of people stop in after they finish their grocery shopping. The street is always full of people carrying bags and walking home. Our shop is a quiet little corner in a busy part of Chennai. I try to keep the place organized, but with all the different threads and lotions, things sometimes get a bit messy on the counters. The chairs are comfortable enough for a short stay. I have a small radio that plays local songs while I work. The windows get a bit foggy when it rains, which happens a lot during the monsoon. Most of my customers are ladies from the nearby apartment blocks. We chat about our families and what we are cooking for dinner. It’s a very local vibe here. I don’t have a big staff, so it’s usually just me or one other person helping out. The floor is a bit uneven in the back, but we have lived with it for a long time. It feels like home because I spend so many hours here every day. It’s just a practical place to get some grooming done. I make sure the mirrors are wiped down every evening before I lock up and head home to my own family.
