Jothis Beauty Parlour 1 is right here on Sami Pillai Street. We’ve been at number 8 for a while now. Most people know where we are because Rathna Cafe is just around the corner, and that’s a big landmark in Triplicane. It’s a busy part of Chennai, but we try to keep things simple inside. We handle hair cutting, threading, and the usual stuff you expect at a local beauty place. It’s not a big fancy setup, just a regular shop where people from the neighborhood come by. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on weekends, especially when there are weddings or festivals happening nearby. We just do our work and talk to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. The street can be noisy with all the traffic heading towards the temple or the beach, but once you step in, it’s just us working. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is clean and ready for the next person. If you're walking down Sami Pillai Street, you'll see our sign. We started this because we knew the area well and wanted to work close to home. It’s been quite a journey living and working in Triplicane. There’s always something happening outside the door. We keep our tools ready and the chairs waiting. Nothing too complicated about how we run things here. Just a local spot for local people who want their hair done.
