Jaba Properties LLP is run out of our office at 8/11 Lambath Avenue. If you know the Abhiramapuram and Alwarpet area, you know it’s a bit more relaxed than the rest of Chennai. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, working out of a space that feels more like a home than a big office. We handle property stuff for people around the 600018 area and beyond. It’s a small team here, so when you call, you’re usually talking to one of us directly. We don’t have a call center or anything like that. The office is full of files and maps, and there’s usually a stack of newspapers on the table. We spend a lot of our time walking or driving around the neighborhood looking at houses and plots. It’s a busy job but we like the freedom of it. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, but we just keep going. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just want to do right by the people who walk through our door. The street outside is usually quiet, which helps when we need to focus on some complicated paperwork. We’ve lived and worked in Chennai for years, so we know how things go around here. It’s just us, doing our thing every day on Lambath Avenue. We often have a bit of a mess on our desks, but we know exactly where every file is located. It’s a small operation, but it works for us.
