I Saloon Unisex

I Saloon Unisex is over in Madipakkam, on 3rd Cross Street in Sadasivam Nagar. We are close to the Brimashakthi Temple, so it’s a fairly easy landmark for people to remember. The shop is at No. 220 A & B. It’s a unisex place, so we see all sorts of people coming through the doors. We’ve got a couple of different sections inside to keep things organized. It’s a local spot where the vibe is pretty laid back. We aren't trying to be like those big chains you see in the malls. We just have our own way of doing things. The street outside can get a bit dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass doors. Most of the people who come here live in the surrounding flats. They usually come in on their way back from the market or the temple. We have some basic chairs and the usual tools. The staff is just a few folks who have been doing this for a long time. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just rely on people telling their neighbors about us. Sometimes the wait is short, sometimes it’s long, especially in the evenings when everyone finishes work. We just take it one customer at a time. It’s a small business and we put in the hours every day to keep it running smoothly.
