Green Way Mens Salon

Green Way Mens Salon is located at No 8/17 on M S Koil Street. We are right there in Royapuram, which is a busy part of Chennai. If you are looking for us, we are quite near the Kalmandapam Police Station. It’s easy to find once you are on the main street. The shop has been around for a bit and we get a lot of locals coming in. It’s a place for men to get a haircut or a shave without any fuss. We don't have a lot of decorative stuff on the walls, just the basics that a barber shop needs. The chairs have seen a lot of use but they are still holding up. On rainy days, the water sometimes splashes near the entrance, but we keep the inside dry. We know the people in Royapuram pretty well. It’s a tight community. Sometimes we talk about the cricket scores or the local news while we work. The shop is small, so when there are three or four people waiting, it feels full. We just keep working through the line. We don't use fancy names for the haircuts. You just tell us how short you want it and we do our best. It’s a practical shop for the working men around here. Nothing more, nothing less. We just try to do a decent job so people come back next month. Sometimes the door squeaks but we don't mind it.
