Government Primary Middle School

We are tucked away on Kamarajar Salai in Virugambakkam, right near Padmavathi Nagar. If you know the area, you know how busy the 58/19 spot gets with all the traffic and shops nearby. The school itself is a bit of a maze with primary and middle school kids all sharing the same space. It gets quite crowded during the lunch break when everyone runs out at once. We’ve got kids from all over this part of Chennai 600092, and most of them have lived in these streets their whole lives. The walls inside could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the drawings the students do keep things looking bright enough. It’s a loud place, especially in the afternoons when the sun is hitting the roof. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day stuff, making sure the registers are filled and the kids are in their seats. There is a small area for play, but it’s mostly just dirt and a few trees. It’s nothing special to look at from the outside, just another government school building, but it’s where we work every day. The parents often stop by the gate to chat with us when they drop their children off. It feels like a small community inside this busy city. We just keep things moving, one day at a time, making sure the routine stays the same for everyone here and the kids learn something useful before they head home.
