Children Orchestra Isaimottugal is located at 23/61, Gnanamani Street in Jafferkhanpet. We are quite close to Ashok Pillar, which is a big landmark around here. Our place is usually filled with the sound of music, though sometimes it’s just the sound of kids learning and making mistakes. It gets loud. We have instruments tucked away in corners and music stands everywhere. It’s not a quiet office by any means. Sathyamoorthy Block is a lively neighborhood. We’ve been teaching and organizing music here for quite some time. The kids come in after school, and things get really active. Sometimes we have to tell them to settle down so we can actually get some work done. It’s a bit of a squeeze when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work. We don't have fancy soundproofing or anything. It's just a regular building where we practice. We spend a lot of time tuning instruments and looking through sheet music. Sometimes we drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next group to arrive. It’s a local thing, really. We know the parents and the families around here. It feels like a small community. We aren't a big academy with a huge budget. We just have a passion for music and helping the younger generation learn a few notes. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s home. We enjoy the noise and the energy that the kids bring every single day. It keeps us young.
