Government Lp School Plachikulambu

This school is located on Arunachalam Road in Saligramam. It’s a government primary school, so we deal with the younger kids from around the Chennai 600093 area. The building is at number 47 and it’s been part of this neighborhood for a long time. We have a few classrooms that are always full of noise and energy. The walls have some old posters and student drawings on them. It’s not a polished place with new equipment every year. We use what we have and make it work. The playground is just a patch of ground where the kids run around during their break. In the summer, it gets really hot, so the fans are always on full speed. The teachers here have a lot of patience because working with small children is never quiet. We make sure the midday meal is served every day because for some kids, it’s the most important part of their morning. The gate at the front is a bit rusty and makes a loud noise when you open it. Parents usually wait outside on the street when it’s time to go home. Traffic on Arunachalam Road can be quite a mess in the afternoons, but we are used to it. It’s a simple school for the local community. We don’t have any big slogans or anything. We just teach the kids how to read, write, and behave. It’s a steady kind of life here.
