Cocoon Play School And Day Care

We started this place because we saw a real need for a safe spot for kids in Velacheri. It is right on 1st Street on Gandhi Salai, just across from the government hospital. Being so close to the hospital makes it easy for parents to find us. We have been here for a while now, looking after little ones while their parents are at work. The school is a simple building but we keep it clean and organized for the children. People around Chennai know where we are because it is a busy area. We focus on daily routines, playing, and making sure everyone gets their snacks on time. It gets noisy sometimes, but that is just how kids are. We do not have fancy offices or anything, just rooms filled with toys and books. The staff here live nearby, so we know the neighborhood well. Sometimes we have to deal with traffic on Gandhi Salai during drop-off times. We try to keep things calm inside despite the bustle outside. There are a lot of daycare centers around, but we just do our own thing here at No 1. We spend our days teaching basic stuff and making sure the toddlers are napping when they should. It is a lot of work but it feels right. We are not trying to be the biggest school, just a place that works for the families living around Velacheri.
