Aathuchudi International Pre School

If you walk down Santhome High Road in the Mylapore area, you'll find us at number 405 A. This is where Aathuchudi International Pre School is based. It’s a very lively little place, mostly because it’s filled with young children for most of the day. The building is situated right near the sea, so we sometimes get a bit of a nice breeze, but the main road right outside is always loud with buses, cars, and bikes. Inside, we've painted the walls in bright colors and put up a lot of the kids' drawings and craft projects. It’s never really quiet here until late in the afternoon when everyone finally goes home. We spend our time managing the little ones, making sure they’re eating their lunch and not getting into too much trouble with each other. It’s a lot of work and can be quite tiring, but the staff here are used to the general chaos of a school. We have a small outdoor area in the back where they can run around for a bit when the weather is okay. Parents are always coming and going, especially in the early mornings when things are a bit hectic during drop-off. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that; we just have a small wooden desk near the main entrance. It feels more like a local community spot than a formal school sometimes. We like it that way because it makes the families feel more comfortable when they leave their kids with us.
