We’ve been running First World Realtors Private Limited for a while now from our spot on Montieth Lane. If you know Egmore, you know how busy it gets around here. Our office is at New No. 12/2, right where all the action is. It's an old building, nothing too fancy, but it works for us. Most days it’s just us sitting around the desks, handling paperwork and talking to people who drop by. We’ve got the old address listed as 61/2 too, just in case someone gets lost looking for the new number. Chennai 600008 is a good area to be in, even with the parking situation being what it is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out looking at sites across the city. Sometimes the fans aren't enough for the heat, but we manage. It’s a small team here. We don't really do the big corporate thing with fancy lobbies. It’s more about just getting the work done every day. There’s always someone coming in to ask about a plot or a lease. We try to keep things straightforward. You might see us grabbing tea nearby when things get quiet. We just handle the property side of things for folks in the neighborhood. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but they're covered in enough maps that you barely notice. We've got a small kettle in the corner for making coffee when we need a break. It is a slow and steady kind of life.
