Ebis Herbal Beauty Parlour

We are over here at Shop No 12B inside the Abirami Mega Mall on Purasawalkam High Road. If you know Chetpet, you know how busy it gets around here with all the shopping and people moving about. Our little parlour isn't anything fancy, just a simple place where we do beauty work using herbal stuff mostly. I've been working here for a while and the mall crowd is always interesting. Some people just pop in because they saw the sign while walking to the cinema or the food court. We handle basic things like threading, facials, and hair oiling. The herbs we use don't have those harsh chemicals you find in big brand bottles. It is a bit cramped inside when more than three people show up at once, but we make it work with the chairs we have. Sometimes the mall AC is too cold, and other times it barely works, but that’s just how it goes in Chennai. Most of our regulars are women from around the Purasawalkam area who just want a quiet hour away from their kids or their housework. We keep some old magazines on the table, though nobody really reads them anymore because everyone is on their phones. We open up in the morning and stay till the mall closes down at night. It's a steady life and we know most of the shopkeepers nearby too.
