Chandus Parlour

If you are walking near the Perambur Railway Station in Chennai, you will find us on Patel Road. The address is New No 133, which used to be 50/3. Chandus Parlour is a small place that has been serving the people around here for a while. Being so close to the station means we see a lot of people coming and going. Some commuters stop by for a quick haircut before they head home on the train. The shop is simple and functional. We have a few chairs and some mirrors that we keep as clean as possible. Chennai heat can be really tough, so we have a couple of fans that stay on from morning until we close at night. We do hair cutting and some basic grooming for men. It is not a place with a lot of luxury, just a straightforward shop where you can get a decent haircut. Patel Road is always loud with the sounds of horns and trains, but it is a good spot for a business. We know many of the shopkeepers nearby and we often get our tea from the stall across the street. The floor gets covered in hair quickly, but we sweep it up every few hours. We don't have any big promises, we just cut hair and try to make sure everyone leaves looking a bit better. It is just a small business run by people who know the value of hard work.
